GoodFellas Steaks and Burgers

GoodFellas has been in our radar for a while already, but we hadn't gotten the chance to try it out yet. Good thing we had a voucher worth P1000 for half the price because of their Father's Day promo. None of the customers during our stay looked like a father though. Hehehe we wonder if they were all availing of the voucher.

 

GoodFellas interiors are decorated to exude a Mafia theme. There were leather couches, which are a bit uncomfortable if you want to sit straight and enjoy your meal.

Flamingo wings - solo (P220)

We were thinking of playing Monopoly Deal when the wings arrived. Their service was fast! With 6 chicken wings, the Solo serving was more than enough for a party of two. The wings reminded us of the one in Charlie's but these were a bit smaller. They weren't that spicy but the flavors were spot on. The sauce was also a great companion to the wings.

House Steak (P295)

There's a choice between Capo (4-6oz) and Don (8-10oz). The latter costs P495. We ordered the steak medium rare and had mashed potato for our side dish.

A rare occurrence for us, but the steak was not the focus of our attention during our visit. It was actually good especially considering the price, but it needed the sauce to enhance it (which is not how we like our steak). The mashed potato and buttered veggies were a good combo with the steak.

Pat and Geno's Sanwich combo (P325)

This is their famous Philly Angus cheesesteak sandwich. How do you gauge a food's taste if this is your first time to try this type of dish? That said, the sauce was a bit too sweet for our taste. It had a generous amount of beef slices and caramelized onions though. It was also cheesy and the bread was soft and airy.

Extra rice

More carbs! We didn't notice we already had bread, mashed potatoes and fries. 

We wanted to try the Toblerone Cheese Cake (P190) and/or Carrot Cake (P165) which we've heard good things about, but they weren't available :(

We were on tipid mode and we worried how much beyond P1000 our bill would be. It totaled P940, which was P60 short of our voucher. This was a super sulit feast indeed! Now that's what we call value for our money :D
